Here are a few examples of LiD projects from the past few years Mar. 2011 - Present CFR MAGAZINE is the first magazine to offer comprehensive reporting on Fire, EMS and Rescue issues related to all of the countries associated with the Caribbean Region, as well as advertising and promotion of industry and national stories of interest for the international community of First Responders. As the creative and publishing team for the CFR Magazine, LiD team members provide a full range of services from graphics design, layout, formatting, editing and production control to marketing and distribution.
Workforce Central Florida
July 2011 - Present – WORKFORCE CENTRAL FLORIDA is the government centred agency dedicated to improving the current and future employment environment for Central Florida and to promoting new jobs in appropriate specialities and industries to promote the growing industrial and service base located in this region. As a key advisor and developer in media and education, LiD provides support to WCF in the education of students and potential students targeted to undertake training in STEM curriculum. Additionally LiD provides internships and industry day experiences to students as part of this process.
OSA Marketing
March 2011 – OSA MARKETING, an established Advertising and Public Relations corporation serving a broad market segment and meeting the needs of their customers through traditional medium engaged LiD to create the animation elements for a grouping of product presentations for their retail line of advanced filters and separators used by vehicles exposed to heavy dust and debris during operations. In this project LiD engaged Cinema 4D as its key to success.
April 2010 –DISCOVER CHANNEL, one of the most widely distributed cable networks in the U.S. and the world, is dedicated to creating the highest quality non-fiction content that informs and entertains its consumers about the world in all its wonder, diversity and amazement. To improve the quality of their animation production Discovery Channel, Miami, invited LiD to support their team by providing training on Cinema 4D and the effective integration of a range of animation tools to ensure their success.
Mar. 2009 - Present - DOSCH DESIGN offers computer graphics products for 3D design, advertising, print publishing, architectural visualizations, animation, motion design and multimedia presentations. We provide Dosch with video tutorial training modules to empower their customers from Hollywood to small production facilities to better understand how to harness the true animation potential offered by Dosch's award winning product line.
Caribbean Association of Fire Chiefs
Feb. 2006 - Present - The CAFC (Caribbean Association of Fire Chiefs) is committed to strengthening the region's capacity for emergency response through joint training and planning. LiD provides the CAFC with marketing, social media marketing, strategic planning, vendor network development & management, conference coordination and disaster management support.
Oct. 2008 - Nov. 2009 - Through Wyche & Associates' customer URS, we supported the marketing media needs of the City of Orlando’s Orlando multi-facility development, Orlando Venues project.
April. 2008 - Present - LiD transformed the Nannettes.com site to a highly effective recruitment tool for new dance students and supports this with an effective SEO program.
July 2008 - For the publisher Charles River Media (A Thompson Learning imprint), LiD principal (Larry Mitchell) authored his second book on 3D animation training (available at Amazon.com) - “Character Animation with Poser Pro”.
Oct. 2008 - At the Planet Digital facility in Orlando Florida, LiD principal (Larry Mitchell) trained members of General Dynamics’ Creative Services division in the concepts, practices and techniques of 3D animation and it’s application to their likely projects.
2007 - For the publisher Lynda.com, LiD principal (Larry Mitchell) authored 4 3D animation training titles (DVD),available at Amazon.com - Cinema 4D 9.5, Cinema 4D 10, Vue 6 and Poser 7.
April. 2006 - At the Swansea Institute School of Design in Wales UK, LiD principal (Larry Mitchell) guest lectured for 2 weeks on 3D rigid body and soft body dynamics simulation, 3D animation and real-time simulation.
May. 2006 - At the Draper Laboratory (Department of Defense) Boston facility, LiD principal (Larry Mitchell) guest lectured and trained the media design group in principles and practices of 3D rigid body and soft body dynamics simulation, 3D animation. LiD is now a registered vendor for consulting services with Draper laboratory.
Jan. 2006 - Based on 5,000 pages of case documentation, police reports, witness testimony and event location photos, LiD produced a multi-scenario 3D animated dynamics based forensic event accident recreation and resulting courtroom forensic report, solving a five year case, saving the State of Florida from a $10M lawsuit.
